Judges will seek evidence of clearly understood areas for development, well executed initiatives, and a genuinely positive impact on employee retention, customer satisfaction, productivity and costs.

Employer Brand Campaign

Leading employers identify and communicate their employer brand as a reflection of their values and culture. We’re looking for initiatives that have identified, developed, communicated and maintained a strong employer brand and successfully leveraged it as part of a wider recruitment strategy. Evidence should be given of the benefit this has brought to the business around recruitment, retention and engagement.

Rewards & Benefits Initiative

Rewards and benefits are high on the agenda for employers who recruit and retain the best talent. We’re looking for entries that demonstrate a strategic and innovative approach to designing a benefits offering that suits the needs of a diverse workforce, leveraged to positively impact on recruitment and retention. Judges will seek evidence of strategic planning, communication, implementation and a positive ROI.

Learning & Development

Successful employers invest in L&D for the benefit of the business and its employees. We’re looking for entries that demonstrate structured, effective approaches to the L&D offering, with well communicated and implemented initiatives that have increased employee skills and engagement. Evidence should be given of a genuine focus on skills development, improved performance levels, a positive impact on attraction and retention and delivery against business objectives.

On-Boarding Programme

A great on-boarding programme delivers on the promises made to candidates throughout the recruitment process. Done well, it supports productivity and retention. We’re looking for entries that demonstrate a well thought out, representative on-boarding programme that enables new recruits to gain the insight, knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to thrive within your business. Detail should be given of the approach, content, delivery and results gained.

Emerging Talent Initiative

Effective hospitality employers create talent pools & pipelines that feed their future talent needs. We’re looking for entries that demonstrate a clear understanding of this and a concerted effort to engage and nurture talent from key sources early on, at any level. Judges will look for evidence of innovative programmes that deliver measureable results around skills attraction and retention and help drive direct recruitment costs down.

Candidate Experience

A great candidate experience improves candidate delivery, fosters a strong employer reputation and lowers recruitment costs. We’re looking for initiatives that clearly deliver an excellent end to end candidate experience and have successfully delivered results to the business. Judges will look for evidence of a structured approach tailored to the needs of the candidate, which embraces creative and digital means to deliver a highly positive candidate experience at all stages of the hiring process.

Launch Campaign

Multiple-role recruiting for a new launch is a familiar challenge for hospitality employers. We’re looking for entries which demonstrate a creative, well crafted, expertly delivered launch campaign that engaged talent with your brand and delivered the hires you needed for launch. Evidence will be required of successful delivery to deadline and clear ROI.

HR Team

This award seeks to recognise HR individuals or teams that have achieved excellence in recruitment, retention and/or development. We’re looking for evidence of great innovation, teamwork, focus on results, solution led approaches and delivery against the objectives of the business. This may be across a range of areas or around one particular project.

This award seeks to recognise In-House Recruitment individuals or teams that have achieved excellence in recruitment, retention and/or development. Ambassador for the Industry

We’re inviting nominations in this category for the shining lights in the hospitality industry, the individuals who go above and beyond, communicate their passion for their career and help recruit, retain and develop talent in the sector. The winner of this award may be new to the industry or have decades of experience, they may work at any level of seniority or skill. Judges will be looking for a winner who embodies the spirit of the hospitality industry and acts as a genuine ambassador for careers and talent in the sector. Nominate the stars of your business for this prestigious award.

We’re looking for entries that demonstrate a clear and impactful approach to developing and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.
